Big Brothers, Big Sisters

Adults and children are matched in a one-to-one mentoring friendship based on personalities, interests, hobbies, and geographic locations. ​Matches hang out at least twice a month and do activities they both enjoy, like going to the beach, watching movies, or sharing a meal. Bigs and Littles form meaningful memories while having fun!

Boy Scouts of America, Aloha Council

Located in the high, cool mountains of Kokee State Park on the island of Kauai, adjacent to the famous Waimea Canyon, is Camp Alan Faye. Camp Alan Faye is a District-led program with staff and volunteer support. Campers bring their own tents for sleeping and food for cooking at their campsite.

Kaua‘i Outrigger Association

Our purpose is to promote and encourage participation in Hawaiian canoe racing activities within our local community as well as at the state and international levels.  Our membership consists of eleven clubs on the island of Kaua‘i. We are the proud sponsor of the Prince Kuhi‘o Long Distance race.  Our annual Na Pali Challenge is a world-class distance racing event.

Child and Family Service

Nana’s House is a Family Center located on the west side of Kaua‘i, in the town of Waimea. Nana’s House offers a wide range of family support programs, services, and community activities.

Hale Ho‘omalu is a Family Center located on the East side of Kaua‘i, in the town of Kapaa. Hale Ho‘omalu offers a wide range of family support programs, services, and community activities.

This program is a child abuse prevention and treatment program, providing a broad array of services to meet the needs of children and their families. The goal is to help parents or caretakers, children at risk, foster families or reunited families live in a safe, permanent home.

An interactive, values-based after school program for Kaua‘i youth, ages 10 to 21. It’s free. It’s fun. There’s food! Invite your friends or make some new ones!

Crisis Mobile Outreach (CMO) provides telephone stabilization and mobile outreach assessment and stabilization services for youth in active state of psychiatric crisis. These can be suicidal or homicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, and/or psychosis – such as auditory or visual hallucinations. CMO services provide crisis counseling support, consultation, assessment, and referrals to youth.

Hale Opio Kaua'i Inc.

The First Jobs Academy supports young adults (14-24 years old) by training in life skills and becoming work ready. The program also trains employers to become helpful, knowledgeable mentors for young adults entering the work world. This training prepares young adults with the skills they need to get the jobs they want.

Imua Prevention education is a program that provides direct instruction on substance abuse prevention, risky behaviors, comprehensive sexual health, healthy relationships and the dynamics of effective communication.

The Hawai‘i Street Outreach Program will increase the safety, well-being, self-sufficiency and number of permanent connections with caring adults among runaway, homeless,and street youth ages 12-21 in Hawai‘i by Encouraging, Providing, and Coordination.

Kaua‘i Teen Court is a collaborative effort between Hale ‘Ōpio Kaua‘i, Police, Prosecutor, and Office of the Mayor, Fifth Judicial Circuit Court, and other public and private agencies.

Juvenile Client and Family Services of the Fifth Judicial Circuit selects youthful offenders to participate in this restorative justice program.

Victim Impact Classes are designed to provide juveniles on probation with an opportunity to accept responsibility for their harmful actions.

Emergency Shelter, Therapeutic Family Homes, Transitional Family Homes, and Independent Living Program, Intensive Independent Living Skills Treatment.

Ke Kahua O Ka Malamalama youth learn and practice Hawaiian arts, cultural traditions, and values taught by selected kupuna and directly experienced while hiking, paddling canoe, and exploring their natural environment.

Hawai‘i Children's Theatre

For Keiki at Play, a dedicated instructor will accompany your child each day. This program will focus on the triple-threat skills of singing, dancing, and acting with classroom, workshops, and coaching culminating in a final performance. This Cabaret style format fits well for small groups performing on stage, and also accommodates a variety of levels and experiences from first -time performers gaining their confidence, to experienced performers honing their skills.

Kaua‘i Performing Arts Center

KPAC educates Kaua’i public school students, grades 6 through 12, in the understanding of and appreciation for plays and musicals. KPAC helps students develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills. KPAC also provides students with opportunities to develop life and leadership skills. Through public performances, KPAC promotes an appreciation of the performing arts for the entire island community.

Keala Foundation

CrossFit Poipu is home to the original Keala Foundation program. Aaron Hoff and Jamie Pacheco opened the gym in 2014. What started with small classes of 10-15 students is now typically an average of 30 per class, 4 days a week. Fitness, mentorship, and character building are the pillars of the program in Poipu. We wouldn’t be where we are without CrossFit Poipu showing the way for our Keala Programs to grow.

Kekaha is beautiful. Rich with culture, Aloha, love, and a feeling of Ohana. Opening its doors in March of 2018 and quickly becoming home to over 100 kids. The Westside Community have wrapped their arms around this program and it is thriving. Anytime the doors are open, there are kids running, jumping, playing, and laughing. As one 8 year old boy remarked, “The gym is a place I am always safe, and I don’t have to worry about anything”
